Privacy Policy

How Gozunta handles account, study, purchase, and support data.

This policy covers gozunta.com, the account-based web app, and the Gozunta iPhone/iPad app.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. Who We Are

Gozunta is provided by Rodney Johnson.

  • Website: https://gozunta.com
  • Support: support@gozunta.com

2. Information We Store

When you create an account, we store the account and study information needed to provide Gozunta. This may include:

  • username, email address, password hash, optional public username, and optional city
  • course choices, study preferences, sessions, answers, progress, mastery, and history
  • notification preferences and reminder schedule
  • subscription plan, entitlement source, App Store product and transaction identifiers, and expiration status
  • ordinary security and operational information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and response status

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Gozunta does not receive your complete App Store payment-card details.

3. How We Use Information

  • to authenticate your account and keep your study state available across supported devices
  • to provide sessions, progress, history, exports, and paid feature access
  • to validate purchases, restores, renewals, expirations, and paid access
  • to schedule native iOS reminders when you enable them
  • to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service

4. App Store Purchases

Apple processes purchases made in the iPhone/iPad app. Gozunta receives Apple-signed subscription transaction information and a Gozunta account token so paid access can be connected to the correct account. Apple’s own privacy policy governs information Apple processes.

Web payments are processed by a payment provider. Gozunta receives transaction and subscription identifiers needed to grant and manage access, but does not receive complete payment-card numbers.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the iPhone/iPad app requests notification permission and schedules notifications through iOS. You can disable reminders in Gozunta Settings or change permission in iOS Settings.

6. Sharing and Tracking

We do not sell personal information and do not use Gozunta data for cross-company behavioral advertising. Information may be processed by service providers needed for hosting, email delivery, and payment or App Store operations. It may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the service and its users.

7. Retention and Deletion

Account and study information is retained while your account exists and as reasonably needed for service, security, legal, and financial-record obligations. You can delete progress separately or permanently delete your account from Settings in the web app or iPhone/iPad app. Account deletion removes the account and cascaded study and entitlement records from the active application database.

Deleting a Gozunta account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription. App Store subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

8. Children’s Privacy

Gozunta is an educational study service, not a school roster or classroom administration system. A parent or guardian should supervise account creation and purchases when required by applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without required permission.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, account authentication, CSRF protection, and cryptographic validation of Apple-signed purchase data. No system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as Gozunta changes. The updated date above will change when we do. Questions or deletion issues can be sent to support@gozunta.com or through Gozunta Support.
