Describe end behavior of exponential growth

Problem

Describe the end behavior of the exponential growth graph \(f(x)=2^x\).

Big Picture

What this problem is really about

End behavior follows the repeated factor in opposite directions. We’ll track several outputs as inputs move right, where a growth base repeatedly multiplies them, and rewrite negative exponents as reciprocals to understand the left side. This shows why one end rises without bound while the other stays positive and approaches, but never reaches, a horizontal asymptote.
