Construct linear and exponential functions, including arithmetic/geometric sequences, from graphs, descriptions, or input-output pairs.

Construct an exponential function from graph points

Problem

Use the displayed plotted points to construct the exponential function.

Big Picture

What this problem is really about

Plotted exponential points reveal one parameter at input zero and the other through repeated multiplication. We’ll use the zero-input output as the coefficient, then divide consecutive outputs whose inputs are equally spaced to find the common factor. Evaluating the resulting form at the later inputs will test whether both plotted points follow the same exponential pattern.
