Problem
Reflect the preimage vertices \(A(1,2)\), \(B(4,2)\), \(C(1,5)\) over the \(y\text{-}\text{axis}\) and match \(\text{each}~\text{one}\) to the image vertices \(D(-1,2)\), \(E(-4,2)\), \(F(-1,5)\).
Correspondence follows each labeled point through the transformation; it should not be guessed from nearby labels. Apply the vertical-axis reflection rule to every source coordinate, locate the resulting image label, and check that the three pairings preserve the triangle’s cyclic order.
