Combine standard function types arithmetically to create models.

Combine two functions by addition or subtraction in context

Problem

A modeled population is \(P(t)=300(1.1)^t~\text{people}\) and its target is \(G(t)=500+20t~\text{people}\). Form \(D(t)=P(t)-G(t)\), keep the entire target grouped under subtraction, and interpret \(D(t)>0\), \(D(t)=0\), and \(D(t)<0\) with units.
