Problem
The graph shows ball height \(h\) in feet versus time \(t\) in seconds and marks the \(x\text{-}\text{intercept}\) \((4,0)\). State what each coordinate means with units, explain why output \(0\) identifies a ground event, and give the contextual interpretation supported by the point.
A contextual graph point has to be read through its axes before it can tell a real-world story. We’ll attach the input and output units to the coordinates in order, identify what a zero output means in this setting, and translate the graph feature into the event it represents.
