Use factoring and completing the square to reveal zeros, extrema, and symmetry of quadratics.

Factor a quadratic and solve its zero factors

Problem

Factor \(2x^{2}-8x\) completely by extracting the greatest common factor \(2x\). Set \(\text{both}~\text{factors}\) equal to zero, solve for the zeros, and multiply the factors to verify the original expression.
