Problem
Compare triangles \(ABE\) and \(CDE\). Identify the vertical-angle pair at \(E\), pair the supplied \(38°\) angles, derive the vertex order, and write the similarity conclusion using \(AA\).
This configuration combines one supplied angle pair with one theorem-generated pair. We’ll match the equal outer angles, identify the truly opposite angles at the intersection as vertical, use those two congruences for AA, and preserve the resulting vertex correspondence in the ordered triangle statement.
