Problem

In \(S={1,2,3,4,5,6}\), restrict to outcomes greater than \(3\), then count the even outcomes within that conditioned set to find \(P(\text{even}|\text{greater}~\text{than}~3)\).

Conditioning replaces the original sample space with only outcomes satisfying the given event. We’ll restrict the list first, count the retained outcomes for the denominator, count target outcomes inside that smaller set, and form the conditional fraction without returning to the original total.
