Problem
Paint covers \(350~\text{ft}^{2}~\text{per}~\text{gallon}\), and a wall has area \(900~\text{ft}^{2}\). Gallons must be purchased whole, and complete coverage is required. Calculate the gallons needed and the nominal coverage left over.

What this problem is really about
Use units to form the raw requirement: divide the total area by coverage per container so only containers remain. Then apply the context, not ordinary rounding; whole-container purchases with complete coverage require the smallest integer that is not below the raw amount. Multiply that purchase by the coverage rate and subtract the target area to verify sufficiency and find the margin.
