Compare function properties across representations, especially quadratic comparisons.

Evaluate a function-comparison claim

Problem

Evaluate the claim that \(B\) has the smaller minimum when \(A\) opens upward with vertex \((-1,-4)\) and \(B(x)=(x-2)^{2}-7\). Read \(\text{both}~\text{minimum}~y\text{-}\text{values}\), compare \(-4\) and \(-7\) on the number line, and separate the output comparison from the vertex \(x\text{-}\text{coordinates}\).
