Problem

A \(3:7\) notebook-to-folder table has columns \((3,7)\), \((6,14)\), \((9,21)\), \((12,30)\). Classify the table and give \(\text{one}~\text{correction}\) in old\(\to~\)new form, or none.

What this problem is really about

Every notebook-to-folder column must be a common-factor copy of three to seven; several correct columns cannot excuse one mismatch. We’ll identify the factor used by each notebook entry and test its paired folder entry with that same factor. If a column fails, we’ll keep the consistent quantity and replace only the value that breaks the ratio.
