Problem

A school club has \(12~\text{students}\) who walk to meetings out of \(48~\text{members}\). Evaluate setup A, \(12/48~=~x/100\), and setup B, \(48/12~=~x/100\). Report the setup letter that preserves \(\text{part}/\text{whole}~=~\text{percent}/100\), and calculate the percent.

The fitting proportion must preserve part over whole on the left and percent over one hundred on the right.
