Combine like terms and simplify expressions while preserving structure.

Check which simplified forms are truly equivalent

Problem

Combine like terms in \(4x~+~3~-~2x~+~5\). Report a fully simplified equivalent expression.

Big Picture

What this problem is really about

Group the two x-terms with their signs and combine the constants in a separate group. After simplifying both, check the stronger requirement that the form is fully simplified: no like terms should remain and no redundant zero term should be attached. The variable term and constant can then remain side by side as unlike terms.
