Problem

A fair coin and fair number cube produce \(12\) outcomes. Event \(A\) is heads and an odd number; Event \(B\) is tails and a number greater than \(4\). Calculate and compare the two event probabilities.

What this problem is really about

Use the same twelve-outcome coin-and-cube sample space for both events. Count heads paired with odd faces for one event, then tails paired only with faces strictly greater than four for the other. Dividing each favorable count by the common total makes the comparison direct and keeps the boundary value from entering the second event.
