Problem

Given \(b~\le~7.5\) and the requirement that \(b\) count full boxes, determine the greatest allowable whole number and report it with units.

The algebra gives an inclusive upper bound, but b counts full boxes, so only whole numbers are meaningful. Find the greatest whole number that does not exceed the decimal bound rather than applying ordinary rounding. Test that integer and the next one: the first must satisfy the inequality, while the next must fail, proving the maximum.
