Problem

Mia is packing prize bags for a school event. She has already solved the inequality for the number of prize bags, \(b\), and got \(b~\le~4.5\). Since \(b\) represents a number of bags, what are the meaningful possible values of \(b\)?

The solved inequality describes every numerical value at or below four and one-half, but b counts complete prize bags. Intersect that bound with the nonnegative whole numbers, excluding fractions and negatives. List every whole-number count that remains and verify the cutoff by checking the greatest permitted integer and the next integer above it.
