Problem

A tile pattern has \(3\) tiles at stage \(1\) and triples each stage. Generate the complete ordered-pair table for stages \(1~\text{through}~4\) and classify the change as additive or multiplicative.

What this problem is really about

The word triples specifies what happens to the current tile count at each new stage. Start with the stated stage-one count, apply that factor successively to the newest total, and pair every total with its stage number. Comparing consecutive ratios afterward verifies both the table and whether its structure is additive or multiplicative.
