Distinguish additive change from multiplicative change in tables, graphs, and contexts.

Track the same structure across different forms

Problem

Test every representation for multiplicative change: for each increase of \(1\) in the input, the output must be multiplied by the same factor. Report the complete set of labels that meet this condition.

A. A candle starts at \(30~\text{cm}\) and loses \(2~\text{cm}~\text{each}~\text{hour}\).
B. \(y~=~3(2^x)\)
C. A table contains \((0,~3),~(1,~6),~(2,~12),~\text{and}~(3,~24)\).
D. Each time \(x\) increases by \(1\), the \(y\text{-}\text{value}\) is multiplied by \(2\), so the graph curves upward instead of forming a straight line.
E. A streaming service has total cost \(c~=~12m\) after \(m~\text{months}\).
